October 3rd, 2025 — Qufu: Confucius Museum

We spent the day wandering around Qufu, exploring the museum dedicated to Confucius. There's something profound about walking through the birthplace of such an influential philosopher—the ancient streets and carefully preserved exhibits gave me a real sense of connection to centuries of history. I found myself lingering in the museum longer than expected, reading about his life and teachings, imagining what this place must have been like during his time.

Our accommodation in Qufu turned out to be absolutely wonderful. We stayed at a Marriott that exceeded all my expectations—the rooms were spacious and immaculate, the service was impeccable, and it was the perfect base for exploring the city. After a day of sightseeing, it felt luxurious to return to such a comfortable and well-appointed hotel.
